The history of Hainan Island traces back to the later period of the Paleolithic Age to the earlier period of the Neolithic. In 110 B.C., Hanwu Emperor established the Zhuya County in Hainan Island. In the middle period of the 1st century A.D., the general of the East Han who was Ma Yuan settled the Zhuya County, established the city Suburbs City in Hainan, the feudalism ruling made stronger gradually, the later people had said that the Fubo General opened Hainan.
